House music. You either get it or you don't. You feel the groove or you just don't feel anything at all. Some say it's the most boring type of music they've ever heard. They say it doesn't move them. They might be zombies as well then. House music needs dedication - you have to actually listen to the music. It's not like instant raw power, like rock or techno. You sometimes need to give some time to get into it. Of course there are banging tracks, which are made to bang your head. But then there are deep soulful anthems like 'Ooohhh' from the Blak Beat Niks. It's certainly not for the peak time in the clubs. It's a great intro tune for the club night and one to begin the morning after. The problem is, you can't find tracks like this in regular clubs. The best way to enjoy music like this nowadays? In your house. Put that record on, sit back and let the music flow through your body, mind and soul.
