From Rivera's Groove Box #331: Carla dal Forno - Took A Long Time

Australian singer/multi-instrumentalist Carla dal Forno writes haunting, downcast tunes influenced by post-punk, dub, and ambient pop. This is my favorite song from her latest album 'Look Up Sharp'.

From Rivera's Groove Box #330: Underground Resistance - Quadrasonic

Beautiful techno music from outer space! That acidic bassline is so infectious, the drum programming is super tight, the vocals are meditatingly deep. This is an early UR production and I think it is one of their finest tracks together with 'The Theory', 'Transition' and 'Jupiter Jazz'.

From Rivera's Groove Box #329: Syncopation - Give It Up

Hold up, hold up... why haven't I heard this track before? Such amazing jazz-funk grooves melted together with a luscious house beat and euphoric vocals. Dayum! Early house music at its best.

From Rivera's Groove Box #328: Groove Committee - I Want To Hold You

Victor Simonelli is responsible for so many classic house tracks. One of my favorite producers in dance music. His tracks are soulful and deep, they often feature vocals from talented singers and most importantly, his productions have some of the best piano sounds in all house music. Just listen to this song. Sweet sweet house vibes.

From Rivera's Groove Box #327: Bumforhire - Club 2000

Another great production from the early days of Mood II Swing. You just gotta love the raw house energy these guys had back in the 90s. This track has a nice build up, it has this ravey intro which then turns into a soulful hands-in-the-air type of track with elevating organs and lush pads. Truly a masterclass example of how house music should sound.

From Rivera's Groove Box #326: Indigo Feat. Joy Malcolm - Fly To The Moon (The Mood II Swing Sentinal Dub)

Another great classic remix from Mood II Swing. Here the boys go a little nuts with all these synthesizer sounds. You don't really hear that in house music. It sounds very techno.
