Nu Groove brought a harder sound to the house music scene in New York, which was dominated prominently by garage sound. The label released a variety of house styles - deep house, breakbeat, rave, techno, hip house. In recent years, many of the best selling tracks have been re-released, which only shows how influential the label still is.
